Aims and Scopes

The Journal of Bioresources is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published biannually by the Center with Potential for Excellence in Biodiversity (CPEB), Rajiv Gandhi University, under the aegis of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi. The journal is dedicated to the dissemination of original research across all areas of biodiversity, with a primary focus on fostering a deeper understanding of biological resources and their sustainable use.

The journal welcomes high-quality submissions that address diverse aspects of biodiversity, including but not limited to:

  • Conservation Biology: Strategies and research for conserving species, ecosystems, and genetic diversity.
  • Ecosystem Services: Studies on the services provided by ecosystems and their role in sustaining human life.
  • Taxonomy and Systematics: Descriptions, classifications, and evolutionary relationships of organisms.
  • Ecology and Evolution: Research on the dynamics of populations, species interactions, and evolutionary processes.
  • Molecular Biodiversity: Insights into the genetic diversity of species and molecular approaches to conservation.
  • Bioresource Management: Sustainable practices for managing and utilizing biological resources.
  • Environmental Impacts on Biodiversity: The effects of climate change, habitat destruction, pollution, and other anthropogenic factors on biodiversity.
  • Biodiversity and Public Health: Connections between biodiversity, ecosystem health, and human well-being.
